Questions
Short answers for builders and for people who might fund an app. The longer versions are on Terms, Privacy, and Funding.
What is fund.io?
Fundio, LLC operates fund.io. A builder can list an app for free. The public page shows the name, the description, the price, and, when Stripe has reported sales, the revenue display the builder chose.
How does a customer pay?
A purchase on an app page is a payment for that builder's product through Stripe. The customer pays the price the builder set. The builder connects a Stripe Express account and is the merchant. Fundio, LLC does not hold the product payment. fund.io keeps 3% + $0.30 as the Stripe application fee.
What does featured placement cost?
Featured placement is advertising: $49 for 30 days, paid by the builder. Featured listings stay above the rest of the directory. Buying it again adds another 30 days. It is not an investment.
Does an interest note move money?
An interest note is a message to the builder. It does not buy equity, a token, or a promise of either. No money moves through fund.io for funding. Funding is pending legal review. fund.io is not a broker-dealer, and the funding page is not an offer of securities.
Are the sales figures verified?
Rows marked Sample data are not Stripe-verified. A builder can hide sales. Hidden sales stay hidden.
How do I sign in or get the newsletter?
Sign-in uses Daisi. fund.io does not keep a separate password. The newsletter is optional. An address is not on the list until it is confirmed, and every letter includes a one-click unsubscribe.
